Job Title: Data Center TechnicianLocation: Appleton, NY 14008Duration: 03+ Months (Possible Extension)Shift: Day Shift / Night ShiftOverview:Responsible for monitoring and supporting critical data center infrastructure in a new facility. Role involves system monitoring, issue identification, and escalation in a high-availability environment.Must Have Skills:3+ years experience in critical environment (Data Center preferred)Knowledge of SCADA, BMS, or EMS systemsExperience monitoring electrical and mechanical systemsUnderstanding of: UPS systemsPDUsSwitchgear (medium & low voltage)Generators & transfer switchesBattery systemsHVAC systems (chillers, cooling towers, pumps, valves)Ability to monitor systems and escalate issues quicklyExperience with inspections and real-time system checksAbility to work in 24/7 on-call environmentGood communication skillsNice to Have:BMS experienceHVAC/Electrical license or certificationSafety experience in industrial environmentsSoft Skills:Good communication and customer service skillsAbility to work under pressureTeam and independent working abilityEducation:High School Diploma or GED Software Skills:Basic computer skills
