Senior Laboratory Clinical Manager Chemistry ????Boston, MA (Onsite Parking)| ????Full?time, Day Shift ????$115,000 $155,000(experience?based) A leading Boston academic medical center is seeking aSenior Laboratory Clinical Managerto oversee operations for its high?volume Chemistry department and related specialty areas. This role leads multiple teams, drives regulatory readiness, and partners directly with senior lab leadership and the Medical Director. What Youll Lead Daily operations across Chemistry, Immunology, and Reproductive/Endocrinology testing A team of4 Supervisorsplus6570 total staff Quality programs, workflow oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives Regulatory readiness (TJC, CLIA; CAP experience helpful) Validation of instruments, assays, and new processes Staffing, hiring, development, and performance management Collaboration with senior lab leadership, clinical partners, and the Medical Director LIS support, data analysis, and workflow optimization ( Beaker preferred ) What You Bring Required: Bachelors in Laboratory Sciences ASCP certification (or equivalent) 5+ yearshospital/clinical lab experience 5+ yearsleadership experience in a CLIA?regulated lab Strong regulatory knowledge (CLIA, Joint Commission) Proven team leadership & communication skills Preferred: Masters degree Epic Beaker experience Confident, independent leadership style (not needing micromanagement) Why This Role Stands Out Leadership position in a major academic medical center Oversight of multiple specialty areas with significant operational influence Close partnership with senior leadership and Medical Directors Opportunity to drive modernization and workflow improvements Competitive compensation & strong institutional support
