DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description This is a remote position.We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare payer environment. This role will focus on bridging development and operations while embedding security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will help streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and ensure secure, scalable integrations.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processesBuild, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support application releases and system updatesMonitor applications and infrastructure to identify and resolve production issuesPerform root cause analysis and implement solutions to improve system reliability and performanceIntegrate security practices into the development lifecycle, including code scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance checksSupport system integrations and deployment activities related to the Facets migration projectAutomate processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance system performanceParticipate in code reviews to ensure adherence to security and quality standardsMaintain documentation for deployment processes, security protocols, and system configurationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing enhancements and system improvementsRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or a similar role supporting application delivery and infrastructureStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS or AzureKnowledge of scripting or programming languages (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell)Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processesStrong understanding of security best practices in software developmentExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teamsExperience supporting healthcare systems or payer environmentsExposure to Facets or similar healthcare platformsExperience working on system migration or transformation projectsFamiliarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
