We’re looking for exceptional talent who thrive in high-pressure, high-reward environments.Position OverviewIntrol is seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to join our team as hourly, project-based W-2 employees supporting GPU infrastructure deployment projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work in fast-paced environments and are looking to contribute to high-impact, mission-critical deployments.As a W-2 hourly employee, you will work under the direction of Introl project leadership and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute data center builds, upgrades, and migrations. Assignments are project-based and may vary in duration, location, and scope depending on business needs.This is an hourly position with compensation based on experience, project complexity, and location, with opportunities for continued project assignments based on performance and business demand.Key ResponsibilitiesGPU Infrastructure & Hardware ManagementDeploy, configure, and maintain large-scale GPU clusters and high-performance computing systemsInstall, troubleshoot, and repair GPU servers, networking equipment, and associated hardwarePerform hardware diagnostics and coordinate large-scale fiber optic connectivityExecute precise hardware migrations and rack installationsData Center OperationsMonitor and maintain data center infrastructure including power, cooling, and environmental systemsPerform routine maintenance on servers, storage systems, and networking equipmentExecute data center migrations ranging from single racks to full facility relocationsSupport optimal performance and availability of deployed systemsTechnical Support & TroubleshootingDiagnose and resolve complex hardware and network connectivity issuesPerform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changesDocument all work performed in accordance with company and industry standardsQuality Assurance & SafetyAdhere to applicable laws, rules, and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NEC)Conduct quality control checks on all installations and deploymentsMaintain clean room standards and proper electrostatic discharge proceduresRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills2+ years of experience in data center operations or hardware deploymentStrong knowledge of server hardware, networking equipment, and data center infrastructureExperience with GPU systems, high-performance computing, or AI infrastructure preferredProficiency with fiber optic installations and network cablingUnderstanding of power distribution, cooling systems, and environmental monitoringCore CompetenciesAbility to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spacesAvailability during nights, weekends, or non-standard hours as neededLegal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipCertifications (Preferred)CompTIA Server+ or equivalent hardware certificationData center or network infrastructure certificationsFiber optic installation certificationVendor-specific certifications (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel)Employment Structure & ExpectationsThis is a W-2 hourly, project-based positionEmployees are scheduled and assigned to specific projects based on business needsWork hours may vary depending on project timelines and operational requirementsOvertime may be required and will be compensated in accordance with applicable lawsEmployees are expected to follow all company policies, safety standards, and reporting structuresTools, equipment, and materials will be provided as required for project executionCompensation & BenefitsHourly rate commensurate with experience and project scopeOvertime eligibility in accordance with federal and state lawAccess to Introl employee benefits (where applicable based on eligibility), which may include:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) planPaid sick time in accordance with state/local requirementsOpportunities for continued project assignments and career growth within Introl
