This includes, but is not limited to, calculating and/or confirming complex amounts in controversy, computing tax valuation of various issues, determining the cash flow impact and advising on complex audit-related matters. This typically involves preparing clear and detailed schedules and memos relating to taxpayers with complex accounts over multiple tax years. This position provides assistance with all aspects of calculations related to the assigned case, from case assignment through closeout. Additional positions may become available (RPA 2526-02096). Working Conditions This position is eligible for limited remote working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework. This is subject to change.
