Ticket TakerDepartment: Ball Park OperationsLocation: Cincinnati OhioFLSA Status: Non-ExemptJob SummaryThe Ticket Taker position supports Ball Park Operations by scanning tickets and checking their validity prior to guest entry. Ticket Takers will also direct guests during the Go Ahead Entry process, ensuring their validity prior to entry. This role is critical in ensuring that only those with a valid ticket enter Great American Ball Park.Minimum RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma/GEDExperience: None neededSkills: Friendly, positive, willingness to workPreferred RequirementEducation: High School Diploma/GEDExperience: Previous experience in customer service is beneficialSkills: Friendly, positive, willingness to workPrimary Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuty % of TimeGreeting guests and Scanning Tickets: 85%Directing Guests to correct locations inside the ballpark : 10%Redirecting Guests with invalid tickets: 5%Reporting StructureThis role reports directly to the Chief Ticket Taker and Director of Guest and Event Operations.Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods- Exposure to outdoor environments including heat, cold, rain, wind, direct sunlight- Must be able to work at least 30 Reds Home GamesTicket Takers are members of the Theater Employees Local Number B-38 International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Technicians, Artists, and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories, and Canada.
