Ticket Takers will also direct guests during the Go Ahead Entry process, ensuring their validity prior to entry. This role is critical in ensuring that only those with a valid ticket enter Great American Ball Park.Minimum RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma/GEDExperience: None neededSkills: Friendly, positive, willingness to workPreferred RequirementEducation: High School Diploma/GEDExperience: Previous experience in customer service is beneficialSkills: Friendly, positive, willingness to workPrimary Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuty % of TimeGreeting guests and Scanning Tickets: 85%Directing Guests to correct locations inside the ballpark : 10%Redirecting Guests with invalid tickets: 5%Reporting StructureThis role reports directly to the Chief Ticket Taker and Director of Guest and Event Operations.Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods- Exposure to outdoor environments including heat, cold, rain, wind, direct sunlight- Must be able to work at least 30 Reds Home GamesTicket Takers are members of the Theater Employees Local Number B-38 International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Technicians, Artists, and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories, and Canada.
