Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in kitchen operations, with experience in fine dining, catering, and food safety standards. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent meal presentation and timely service. The Line Cook will play a vital part in maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for exceptional cuisine and service. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and presentation Support the team during busy service periods by cooking, plating, and serving dishes promptly Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders Uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene at all times Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling safety procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with fine dining standards or catering services is desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Previous restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in kitchen tasks is preferred This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic culinary environment where quality and customer satisfaction are prioritized.
