In this role, you should be able to manage all aspects of the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) security program. Specific duties:Provide support to the government for the entire spectrum of security disciplines, including physical, personnel, and ITAssist with managing and maintaining DoD standards and the operation of the unit SCIFAdhere to all applicable directives, publications, handbooks, policy letters, and procedures involving security disciplinesAssist with annual SCIF security inspections, self and spot inspections, as neededInterface with contract or security teams, higher HQ, DoD, and multiple national agencies, and other government entities to resolve and/or clarify security related processes, incidents and infractionsReview documents for proper security classification markings and provide guidance for proper overall classification issuesFunctional knowledge and proficiency working in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS); to include but not limited to, processing of incoming and outgoing Visitor Access Requests (VARs), foreign travel requirements, subject actions, etc.Maintain SCI billet roster and submit SCI nomination requests as needed to applicable SSOPerform SCI indoctrination/debriefs and process all associated paperworkConduct security training (as required) during staff meetings, Commander's Call or as a result of any security infractionsProficiency with DoD security databases (e.g., DISS, NBIS, Scattered Castles)Manage and maintain the SCIF's physical security systems (ACS, IDS) across multiple classified classroomsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:Security Experience & Knowledge - demonstrated ability to accurately interpret, adhere to, and apply regulatory guidelines and policies and procedures, including being detail oriented, maintaining rigorous compliance, and providing information on security operationsCustomer Service - excellent customer service skills, including the ability to effectively interact with a diverse customer set and build customer relations by responding in a timely manner, researching and providing accurate information and direction to a wide array of inquiries, and promotes productive cooperationCommunication - excellent communication skills, ability to effectively interact and collaborate with colleagues, as well as internal and external government customersActive or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility requiredEducation and Required Experience: Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 4 years of directly related work experience may be substituted for education requirementRequired Experience:Minimum of 3 years related work experienceAbility to represent company interests and support a team-oriented working environment.Familiarity with NISPOM, NISPOMSUP, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-Vol. 4, and ICD-705Salary Range:$90,000 -- $110,000 (annually)Closing Date:We will accept applications until this position is filledBenefits: Aleut offers the following benefits to eligible employees:Health insuranceDental/Vision insurancePaid Time OffShort- and Long-Term DisabilityLife insurance401k and matchEEO Statement: Aleut Federal, LLC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or genetics.
