Machine Operator Assistant This is a full-time position for a growing business. Check out our web site at: www.SierraCoating.com The Machine Operator Assistant position is the first step towards becoming an operator of coating machines. As a Machine Operator Assistant, you will be an integral part of our production team. Duties of the Machine Operator Assistant include: · Transporting raw materials to machines for production · Assisting in machine setup and operations · Quality Control testing · Machine cleanup after and between orders · Packaging finished product for shipment. · Shipping and receiving · Routine cleaning · Use of a forklift and Clamp truck. Experience not necessary. Training will be provided. We operate two shifts. · Each shift works three 12-hour days and a 4-hour day. --- 3.5 days off per week. · We do not work holidays · Our shifts are permanent assignments and do not swing. · Training will be done on days, 8 hours per day Monday through Friday for 8 to 12 weeks. · This position is for one Night position, after training this will move to one of the 12hr shifts. · Established members in good standing can look forward to advancement and the option of day shifts as positions open. Sierra is a producer of food packaging materials. · Good Manufacturing Procedures and Safety requirements will be followed · Safety shoes (reimbursement) · Safety glasses (reimbursement) · No jewelry, watches, rings, piercings, false fingernails, or nail polish. · Will have to follow our dress code. · Will have to follow other facility and security restrictions. Pay rate of $20.00 per hour with a sign on bonus of $1000. There is an additional $1.5per hour shift differential for night shift.
