We are a company ready to make a difference in education and support the current educator shortage.The Special Education Paraprofessional is key to helping classroom teachers establish and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment. Your main focus will be to deliver specialized assistance to students with special needs. This work includes offering direct one-on-one or small group educational support, ensuring lesson comprehension, actively participating in carrying out IEP objectives, and providing assistance with behavior strategies and personal care as required.Responsibilities:-Assisting the classroom teacher-Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material-Assist in compiling classroom communications-Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment-Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed-Support with personal care or hygiene as needed, including toiletingRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 48 credits and higherExperience working with children with Special Educational needsExperience working with personal careUS Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.Applicants must have professional proficiency in EnglishPhysical Requirements:Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the dayAble to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application processPreferred Qualifications:-Past work experience in a schoolCPI TrainingSalaryPay: $19 - $21 per hour, paid weekly.Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).Benefits:Weekly payPaid Sick Leave401K (certain eligibility criteria)Connect with a recruiter today to get started with your application!Ref: #IETAZA-May26
