Development Services Analyst

Position Summary The Development Services Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the integrity of data captured across various CoServ work management systems. The Analyst supports the Energy Infrastructure and Operations teams by generating and reviewing reports critical to timely project completion and compliance. Primary Position Responsibilities Monitors all work orders and service requests within Maximo from inception to completion to ensure service standards are being met at each stage. Assists the Energy Infrastructure and Operations teams with any work management reporting requests or needs. Accurately generates all new service locations in NISC, utilizing GIS to obtain critical service location information such as coordinates, taxing, and utility service availability. Maintains data integrity of service locations within NISC-iVUE Service. Exports department reports monthly to provide for strategic leadership updates. Monitors integrity of data entered by internal and external users on work orders and service requests. Monitors stagnant work orders and service requests, collaborates with other teams to ensure work orders are closed or cancelled. Collaborates with cities, counties and developers within CoServ service territory to obtain and validate 911 address plats. Develops and reviews reports and queries to help monitor data integrity. Processes work order redesign or cancellation requests. Prepares check requests for work order related refunds. Completes special projects by coordinating, testing and monitoring results. Initiates proactive action by communicating data integrity issues with leadership. Communicates, supports and cooperates with other CoServ departments in cross-departmental projects and initiatives. Builds and maintains positive interdepartmental working relationships. Maintains a thorough understanding of CoServ’s work management system (IBM-Maximo), customer information system (NISC-iVue Service), work order accounting system (NISC-iVue Financials). Complies with established CoServ safety and operating rules, procedures and guidelines including reporting unsafe practices to a supervisor. Complies with established CoServ Information Security Handbook, policies, procedures, and guidelines including reporting suspected information security incidents to Tech Support. Secondary Position Responsibilities Attends Development Services and Logistics staff meetings as directed. Represents Development Services and Logistics as a Core Team Member on WMS Advisory Committee (Maximo). Assists in developing and testing software upgrades as needed. Attends CoServ University and Industry training as required. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Supervisory Responsibilities None Position Requirements Education and Certifications Required High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalency. Education and Certifications Preferred Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree. Experience Required 7 years’ administrative experience and/or quality assurance experience Experience Preferred 5 years’ experience in the electric and/or gas utility industry. Skills and Abilities Required Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint. Skills in managing spreadsheets, creating custom formulas, using functions, and analyzing data. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be detail-oriented and accurate. Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Must be able to work independently, with minimum supervision and in teams. Must have knowledge of basic mathematics. Ability to work in an office environment.
