You will play a key role in maximizing fleet uptime through diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a fast-paced shop environment. What You'll Do:Repair and maintain tractors and trailers using hand and precision toolsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, brake, ABS, and air systemsPerform preventative and routine maintenance inspectionsInspect components for wear, defects, and safety concernsRepair or replace damaged parts and systemsUtilize diagnostic software and schematics for troubleshootingPerform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication as neededInspect and repair trailer structures, wheel bearings, and brake systemsComplete accurate maintenance and repair documentationFollow all safety procedures and regulatory standardsRespond to emergency breakdown repairs as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform other duties as assigned What You Need to Succeed:Technical school degree in diesel, heavy equipment, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Proven experience in tractor and trailer maintenance and repairStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience with diagnostic software and wiring schematics preferredWelding and fabrication experience preferredValid driver's license requiredStrong communication and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentFlexibility to work scheduled shifts including Saturday rotation Work Environment:Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working on concrete flooringFrequent lifting up to 100 lbs (including overhead)Climbing on and off trailers throughout the shiftExposure to loud noiseWorking in varying temperatures (hot and cold conditions) Be Part of Something Fresh!If you're looking for a stable, hands-on career with a company that values hard work, safety, and teamwork-WP Rawl is the place for you.Apply today and take the next step in your career with WP Rawl!WP Rawl is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
