Finance Coordinator -Financial Systems & Analysis

OVERVIEW Reporting to the Manager of Financial Analysis, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated finance coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role combines elements of traditional financial analysis and reporting with data analysis responsibilities, offering an excellent growth opportunity for a candidate looking to develop both financial insight and technical data skills. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and eager to support the firm's reporting and performance analysis functions. This position is in our Chicago office. WORK SCHEDULE Generally standard hours – 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday to Friday. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and track key finance deliverable deadlines, coordinating schedules and communicating priority changes while ensuring timely follow-up on critical tasks. Assist in developing and delivering high-level presentations and reports for firm leadership and broader firm audiences. Support in preparation of financial and other data in connection with external surveys (including but not limited to industry and government). Assist with maintaining accurate financial and matter-level data to ensure timely and consistent reporting. Research and resolve non-billable cost balances and other discrepancies. Perform routine data integrity checks to ensure accuracy across financial systems. Support key performance metric reporting to ensure reliable measurement of organizational performance. Leverage AI tools and techniques to improve processes and deliver measurable improvements and efficiencies. Perform ad hoc analyses QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Systems, or a related field. Must be well organized with strong attention to detail and good business judgment, capable of handling sensitive information with appropriate discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Strong business acumen, analytical skills and the ability to apply newly learned skills quickly and effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility with respect to assigned tasks due to changing deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Ability to problem solving skills and provide creative solutions. Must have a positive attitude and be results-oriented, dependable, adhere to established time commitments and demonstrate strong customer service attributes. The anticipated pay range for this role is $58,000 to $88,000 in Chicago. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on several factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
