This full-time, on-site role is based at our headquarters office in Spindale, NC and requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective collaboration across departments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop an 8-10 person engineering teamRead and interpret construction documents, drawings, schematics, and designsDesign and develop electrical system specifications for commercial and industrial projectsIdentify and implement engineered solutions to field challengesPromote prefabrication and innovative electrical installation methodsCollaborate with project teams to improve installation efficiency and productivityUtilize tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Project, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, and/or ConEstEnsure alignment with project scope, schedule, and cost targetsMaintain high standards for documentation, quality, and cross-team collaborationGeneral Requirements (All Levels)Valid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screenWillingness to relocate to and/or commute to the Spindale, NC officeExperience Levels & QualificationsThis role is open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Final title, scope of responsibilities, and compensation will align with demonstrated skills and leadership capability.Level I - Electrical Engineering ManagerTarget Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering field)Active Professional Engineering (P.E.) license (or ability to obtain within an agreed time frame)5-7 years of electrical engineering experience in commercial and/or industrial constructionFoundational leadership or team coordination experienceProficiency in engineering and construction management softwareStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsLevel II - Senior Electrical Engineering ManagerTarget Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringActive Professional Engineering (P.E.) license7-10 years of progressive electrical engineering experienceDemonstrated experience leading engineering teams or project scopesExperience with project management, estimating, prefabrication, and/or project controlsStrong client communication and cross-functional leadership skillsLevel III - Lead / Principal Electrical Engineering ManagerTarget Compensation: $145,000 - $160,000QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringActive Professional Engineering (P.E.) license10+ years of electrical engineering experience in commercial and/or industrial constructionProven success leading complex, multi-project engineering organizationsDeep expertise in prefabrication strategies, project controls, and construction executionAbility to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and partner with executive leadershipPortfolioWe deliver some of the highest-value and most complex electrical projects in the region.
