Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

Job Description Client: Top-rated Engineering firm focused on the planning, design, and construction of Water/wastewater-related facilities & infrastructure in the US & Canada 100% employee-owned for close to 100 years Full Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K match Sign-on Bonus Paid OT and Annual Performance Bonus Responsibilities: Plans, schedules, and executes engineering tasks across a range of project sizes Designs processes for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including engineering support and construction oversight Develops engineering designs, technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water-related infrastructure Produces technical memos, reports, and digital deliverables; performs data analysis and supports construction-phase activities Oversees and coordinates the work of junior engineers, designers, technicians, and other team members on assigned tasks Delivers engineering support throughout the construction process Engages in on-site activities such as pilot studies and field testing Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental Engineering Registration as a Professional Engineer 6-12 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering Skilled in applying engineering principles with a focus on critical thinking, analysis, and creative problem-solving Strong written and verbal communication abilities Collaborative team player with a positive, adaptable attitude Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (+) Design and construction phase experience (+)
