Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.ResponsibilitiesCeremony FacilitationFacilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesEnsure ceremonies are time-boxed, purposeful, and yield actionable outcomeesMaintain sprint cadence and team rhythm across the delivery lifecycleTeam EnablementShield the team from unplanned scope and external interruptions during active sprintsIdentify, track, and escalate impediments that cannot be resolved at the team levelCoach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practicesSupport the client Product Owner in backlog refinement and story readiness, without owning backlog prioritizationAgile Metrics and TransparencyMaintain sprint boards, velocity tracking, and burndown charts in JiraProvide sprint health reporting to the Program ManagerFlag delivery risks arising from team capacity, story quality, or dependency blockersCommunicate sprint status to the PM - the Scrum Master does not independently manage client-facing status reportingContinuous ImprovementLead retrospectives with a structured format and ensure action items are tracked and addressedDrive team maturity in Agile practices over the course of the engagementRecommend process adjustments based on sprint data and team feedbackQualifications2+ years of experience managing medium to large-scale, business-side projects Four-year degree or equivalent work experience Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience Experience in Project Management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely to determine acceptable solutions Strong facilitation skills with the ability to manage diverse, distributed teamsAbility to work with offshore and onshore team modelsFundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Outlook, and SharePoint Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills Salesforce experience preferred, healthcare preferredThe salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
