Job Title: Senior Consultant – SAP FICO (S/4HANA) | SME Location: San Jose, CA / Austin, TXHourly Rate: $85-$90 per hour About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant (GL SME) with strong S/4HANA experience to design and deliver scalable finance solutions. This role requires a solution-oriented mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to drive integration across complex landscapes.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as SME for SAP FICO (General Ledger focus) in S/4HANADesign and implement FICO solutions integrated with sub-ledgers and non-SAP systemsProvide solution options with pros/cons and recommend best-fit architectureWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end integrationTake ownership of design → implementation → issue resolution (AIs closure)Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP) to ensure scalable and optimized solutionsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders and present recommendations Required SkillsStrong expertise in SAP FICO (GL focus) – S/4HANAExperience with integration (sub-ledgers, upstream/downstream systems, non-SAP)Good understanding of ABAP / technical design collaborationAbility to think solution-centric (not task-based)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsNice to HaveExperience in OOABAP / S/4 ABAP development practicesExposure to UI/UX concepts in SAPSAP certification in FICO or ABAP
