Electrical Project Manager Company: Third Generation Electric Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Employment Type: Full-Time Starting Salary: $75,000 annually Position Summary Third Generation Electric is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects throughout Oklahoma. This position is focused on commercial, institutional, industrial, airport, and sports-lighting projects. This is not a data center construction position, and data center experience is not required. The Electrical Project Manager will coordinate projects from preconstruction and project turnover through completion and closeout. Responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, materials, documentation, subcontractors, and customer relationships while working closely with field leadership to deliver safe, high-quality, and profitable projects. Experience as a Junior Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager is preferred. Candidates with construction management experience and a strong interest in electrical construction will also be considered. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage electrical construction projects from initial turnover through completion and closeout. Review project plans, specifications, estimates, contracts, submittals, and schedules. Develop and maintain project budgets, cost projections, schedules, and work plans. Coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members. Partner with foremen and field leadership to plan labor, materials, equipment, and project sequencing. Monitor project costs, labor productivity, committed costs, material purchases, and overall financial performance. Prepare and manage submittals, requests for information, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation. Identify changes in scope and prepare accurate, timely change-order proposals. Procure materials and equipment while monitoring lead times and delivery schedules. Participate in project kickoff meetings, progress meetings, site visits, and closeout meetings. Track project milestones and promptly address schedule, budget, material, or coordination concerns. Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and project partners. Support field teams by resolving issues and providing the information needed to complete work efficiently. Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and current. Coordinate testing, inspections, punch-list completion, as-built drawings, training, warranties, and closeout documents. Promote compliance with company safety policies, contract requirements, electrical codes, and applicable regulations. Assist with estimating, preconstruction planning, and project turnover when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous experience in construction project management, project coordination, electrical construction, or a related field. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents. Understanding of construction methods, project sequencing, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with field employees, customers, contractors, engineers, vendors, and company leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Oklahoma as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a Junior Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer. Experience managing or supporting commercial, institutional, industrial, airport, or sports-lighting construction projects. Electrical construction field experience. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field. Experience with construction project-management, scheduling, estimating, or document-management software. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and electrical construction practices. Experience managing project budgets, change orders, submittals, RFIs, procurement, and closeout documentation.
