Job Title: Local Contract -Physical Therapist Number of positions: 1Years of experience: One to three yearsShift: Night shifts- 40 hoursDuration: 13 weeksStart Date: 03/10/2024Hourly pay: $46.45OT: 1.5Weekly Pay: $1,741.88JOB DESCRIPTIONSummaryDepartment: Physical TherapyShift timings: 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday 4days/10 hoursPer Week: 40 HoursRoles & ResponsibilitiesConsulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.Advising patients on exercise techniques.Advising patients and their families about in-home treatment options.Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health.Consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.Documenting patient care history.Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures.QUALIFICATIONSBLS and ACLSNational Institutes of Health (NIH)Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careRequires a minimum of two years of current RN Oncology experience.Graduate from a fully accredited RN programActive unencumbered Kansas RN state licenseOne year of Cerner experience Requirements• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.Participates in relevant continuing education programs.Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.ABOUT HEALTHCARE STAFFING PLUSHealthcare Staffing Plus is a US based national per diem, local contract, and locum tenens agency.
