Private Security Qualifying Agent

*Job Summary* We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated *Startup Partner / Security Qualifying Agent* to assist in launching a new private security company. This individual will play a critical role in helping the organization obtain the necessary *state licensing, regulatory approvals, and compliance requirements* required to legally operate. During the startup phase, this position will function as a *consultant-style advisory role*, helping guide the business through licensing procedures, compliance standards, and operational preparation. Once the company becomes fully licensed and operational, the role will transition into a *formal paid position within the company*. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in *law enforcement, military, or private security management* who wants to help build and shape a security company from the ground up. *Responsibilities* * Assist with obtaining all required *Ohio PISGS Qualifying Agent Certifications* * Ensure compliance with *state and regulatory requirements* * Provide guidance on *security industry policies, procedures, and operational standards* * Support the development of internal compliance and training requirements * Serve as the *qualifying agent* for the company where required by law * Assist with preparing documentation and applications for regulatory approval * Help establish professional standards for company security personnel *Qualifications* * Must already be certified as Qualifying Agent with Firearm Bearer Notation (This is an absolute requirement.
