Senior Facilities Project Manager
Facilities Project ManagerMarkon is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to support one of our Intelligence Community customers.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for providing the project management expertise for the coordination, planning, and work prioritization of assigned projects ranging in value from $50K to $20M or more.
Act as a liaison, reporting to and coordinating with U.S. government representatives at multiple levels
Oversee the Site O&M support contractor for resource allocation and document control
Ensuring that the government receives valid cost proposals
Developing and reporting metrics to support the paradigm of continuous improvement
Project initiation, assisting in completion of and reviewing requirements documents to ensure that the customer requirements for power, space and cooling are met
Demonstrated project management skills associated with managing performance, budget, schedules, and adhering to control gates
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners
Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures
Ability to manage multiple and competing resources
Develop and submit multiple project development documents used for planning and execution of the project
Prepare and monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
Provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction related issues
Prepare and edit/update project status briefings and support leadership briefings
Support and occasionally provide site tours for distinguished and other identified visitors
Facilitate project coordination between multiple government stakeholders
QualificationsActive TS/SCI with a CI poly
AutoCAD experience
Basic knowledge of the government organization and method of conducting business
Bachelor's degree in facilities related engineering or architectural field with 7+ years of relevant experience in IC, DOD or Commercial Sector in the last 12 years
Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes
Ability to travel local
Preferred:
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Experience with MS Project or equivalent scheduling tool
Experience with schedule analysis
Experience with space planning and development of test fits
Knowledge of systems furniture and standard office furnishings
Understanding of ADA/ABA guidelines
Experience creating Scopes of Work (SOW) for RFP/RFI/IFB packages to include Government Cost Estimates (GCE)
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Archibus, and/or SAP
Salary RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
