Physical Therapy AR Billing
Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:Verify insurance for assigned physical therapy clinics at TOCEnter charges for assigned providers/clinics.Process primary and secondary insurance claims (including pulling of EOBs for secondary claims)Maintain and evaluate daily audit trails and rejectionsAnswer billing calls from patients and assist with account resolutionProcess claims, referrals, crossovers and authorizationsWork AR work lists as assigned for outpatient therapy locationsPrint records requested for proper claims processingAbility to master our EPM/EHR computer systemAbility to utilize software applications to process claims, research statements, and research accountsAnswer all incoming callsAbility to communicate professionally, both oral and written for clear, legible messagesPleasant, friendly demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and all incoming callers and insurance representativesSchedule appointments as neededHighly motivated with the ability to work under pressurePositive, teamwork attitudeAssist with any other task assignedThis position will require you to spend extensive amounts of time on the phone with insurance companiesWork directly with insurance companiesUpdate patient's insurance coverageCall patients to reschedule appointments if neededKnowledge of data entry and excel a plusMust also possess:Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesOutstanding organizational, verbal and writing skillsIndependent and highly motivatedInitiative and self-disciplineProven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work historyPhysical Demands:Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfullyConstant sitting for long periods of timeMust be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areasConsistently work at a productive paceMust readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changesTo apply please visit: https://www.visittoc.com/about-us/careers/Equal Opportunity Employer
