As a key player in our team, you will oversee daily preventive and corrective Quality Control activities on Federal construction projects, ensuring compliance and quality throughout each phase of the process.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and administer the Quality Control Plan in alignment with the Army Corps Three Phases of Control.Collaborate with project teams to confirm that all submittals meet contract specifications.Review construction plans and specifications to ensure adherence to requirements.Provide comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and Continuous Quality Control (CQC) support to staff and subcontractors.Communicate written inspection and testing results to relevant agencies.Implement effective preventive and corrective measures to address issues promptly.Facilitate pre-final inspections and establish punch lists to rectify any deficiencies.Coordinate final inspections with government contracting and contractor personnel.Required SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.In-depth understanding of construction processes, including prints, plans, procedures, and testing methodologies.Proficient in Quality Management principles.Capability to conduct inspections and evaluate submittals effectively.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field preferred; alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of Quality Management experience.Familiarity with construction divisions and processes.OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid Training Certification or willingness to obtain.Certification in Total Construction Quality Management for Contractors from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, or the ability to achieve this certification prior to employment.U.S. citizenship and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Experience with HVAC, Boiler, and Mechanical Rooms is an advantage.Career Growth OpportunitiesAt SOL Engineering Services, we are dedicated to fostering the professional development of our team members.
