Your work ensures that mission‑critical fabrication tools operate at peak performance to support both production and innovative research.Daily Responsibilities IncludePerform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of semiconductor equipment including steppers, evaporators, sputters, implanters, etchers, coaters/developers, and dicing saws.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and basic software/control issues on both legacy and custom tools.Partner with engineers, researchers, and tool owners to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a dynamic Production/R&D environment.Log maintenance activities, downtime, and parts usage in internal systems.Support tool installations, upgrades, and decommissioning, while coordinating with vendors and facilities teams.Monitor and order critical spare parts, consumables, and safety components.Follow all cleanroom and safety protocols, ensuring tools meet cleanliness, calibration, and operational standards.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximizing tool uptime and maintenance efficiency.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or related technical tradeStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawingsFamiliarity with vacuum pumps, gas systems, and cleanroom proceduresComfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment with frequent tool changeoversUS Citizenship (required)Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical training in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related fieldExperience with legacy semiconductor tools and both wet and dry processesExposure to low‑volume, high‑mix R&D or prototyping environmentsBasic understanding of semiconductor fabrication process flowsKnowledge of safety protocols involving chemicals, gases, and high‑voltage systemsWhy Join UsAt PDS Tech Commercial, You’ll Be Part Of a Team That Supports One Of The Most Innovative Aerospace Pioneers In The World.
