VisionNav offers a technologically advanced, fast-paced environment for professionals interested in robotics, automation, and future-ready logistics.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Detroit, MI. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end implementation of autonomous vehicle and logistics automation projects, including scoping, planning, scheduling, and risk management. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, sales, and customer support), managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves tracking project milestones, preparing status reports, facilitating project meetings, and resolving issues or roadblocks that impact delivery. The Project Manager will also support solution deployment at customer sites, oversee testing and acceptance, and drive continuous improvement in project processes and standards.Qualifications Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource coordination.Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders in technical or engineering environments.Ability to translate technical requirements into clear project plans and deliverables, preferably within automation, robotics, or industrial solutions.Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Gantt charts, Agile/Waterfall, status reporting, issue tracking).Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities in fast-paced, dynamic settings.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Systems, or a related field; PMP or similar certification is a plus.Experience delivering on-site projects for industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing clients is highly desirable.Comfort working in customer environments, occasionally on the warehouse or factory floor, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work legally in the United States and be on-site in Detroit, MI; willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
