Director of People & Culture, Lincoln, DE (Onsite), $100,000–$110,000Join a fast-growing, $20M+ service organization with 200+ employees and a clear vision to double in size over the next three years. This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on HR builder who will scale the People function, drive recruiting, and strengthen a performance-driven culture in a field-based environment.Director of People & Culture – ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning workforce strategy with operational and financial goals. Build and lead a scalable recruiting engine to support 20–30% annual growth and high-volume field hiring. Develop and implement HR systems, processes, and policies that drive efficiency, compliance, and scalability. Own employee relations, compliance, and HR operations across a multi-location workforce. Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives aligned with company core values. Establish and track key HR metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, cost per hire, engagement) to inform decision-making. Lead performance management, coaching, and organizational development efforts across all levels. Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll accuracy, and HR data integrity. Partner with leadership to build accountability, improve team performance, and develop future leaders. Act as a hands-on leader—willing to roll up sleeves, solve problems, and build structure in a fast-paced environment.Director of People & Culture – Requirements5–10+ years of HR experience with proven leadership responsibility. Demonstrated success building or improving recruiting functions and HR infrastructure. Experience in construction, landscaping, logistics, or other labor-intensive, field-based environments strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and multi-state workforce management. Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-growth company. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Bachelor’s degree required; PHR or SHRM certification is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
