The organization is committed to improving patient care and safety through innovation, strategic partnerships, and the ongoing development of accessible, high-quality diagnostic tools.Position OverviewThe Senior Accountant will take ownership of core accounting functions and play a key role in strengthening the organization’s financial close, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. This individual will support the transition of the accounting function into a more structured and scalable operation, helping to improve consistency, efficiency, and financial insight as the company continues to grow.This role offers broad exposure across accounting operations, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with finance leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses.Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules.Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal management reporting.Support external audit requests and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.Assist with Accounts Payable processing and other transactional accounting activities as needed.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and close efficiency.Partner with FP&A and leadership teams to support reporting needs and provide financial insights.Contribute to the development of more scalable accounting procedures and infrastructure.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.CPA preferred or in progress.Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.Experience with ERP systems required.Background in a growth-oriented or private equity–backed organization preferred.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and process improvement mindset.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
