Asset Manager

CSP is partnering with a fast growing real estate operator with a specialized asset class focus. They are searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Asset Manager to join the team. They will assist in overseeing the performance of the portfolio and drive long-term asset value through disciplined business planning, financial analysis, and close collaboration across departments.This role serves as the internal owner of asset performance, translating the firm's investment strategy into actionable asset-level business plans while monitoring operational and financial results. The Asset Manager will work cross-functionally with Property Management, Accounting, Capital Projects, and Acquisitions teams to ensure assets perform in line with expectations.Key Responsibilities:Asset Strategy & Business PlanningDevelop and maintain asset-level business plans aligned with investment strategyPartner with Property Management and Accounting to establish annual operating budgetsEvaluate asset performance relative to business plans and underwriting assumptionsConduct hold/sell/refinance analyses and provide strategic recommendationsSupport onboarding and integration of newly acquired assetsProperty Management PartnershipServe as the internal liason to Property Management teamsTrack operational KPIs and address performance issues impacting assetsLead monthly asset-level variance reportingReview operational initiatives aimed at revenue growth, expense control, and resident satisfactionCapital Planning & CapEx OversightCoordinate asset-level capital improvement planningEvaluate CapEx investments and expected returnsMonitor project execution against approved scope, budget, and timelineTrack the impact of capital investments on asset performanceFinancial Analysis & ReportingOversee asset performance reporting with support from Asset Management AnalystsMaintain financial models and performance tracking toolsAnalyze portfolio trends and identify opportunities for improvementSupport executive reporting and strategic decision-makingCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Acquisitions, Accounting, Capital Projects, Legal, and Property Management teams across the asset lifecycleAssist with acquisition diligence and asset integrationSupport budgeting, reporting, insurance matters, and regulatory issuesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required5–10 years of real estate asset management experienceStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsAbility to connect financial performance with operational driversFamiliarity with property management operations and capital projectsStrong collaboration, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple assets and priorities in a fast-paced environmentOwnership mindset with accountability for asset performance
