Zantech is looking for a talented Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist to provide comprehensive multimedia and graphics support for a premier Federal Government website (army.mil), creating visual materials that communicate complex information to both federal stakeholders and a civillian audience. The position requires expertise in advanced design software and video production while maintaining strict adherence to Army.mil visual standards.General Responsibilities Include, But Will Not Be Limited ToComplete approximately 80 multimedia projects annually across varying complexity levelsUse Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) for design developmentCreate forms, labels, brochures, slides, logos, posters, graphs, maps, booklets, and exhibit displaysEnsure compliance with Visual Guide specificationsManipulate video and integrate graphics, animations, sound, and text into consolidated productsAssist in defining requirements and prioritizing graphic design workCoordinate bulk graphics and printing services with ONI Graphics and Print ShopSupport both electronic and hard copy format requirements.Key Duties Include, But Will Not Be Limited ToKey Responsibilities: Create High-Impact Visual ProductsDesign and develop 80+ multimedia projects annually (85% low complexity, 10% moderate complexity, 5% high complexity)Create technical, promotional, instructional, and informational materials including:Forms, labels, brochures, meeting and conference handoutsSlides, logos, posters, graphs, maps, bookletsLarge exhibit displays and graphical design elements for websitesImages and other presentation aids in electronic and hard copy formatsUtilize Industry-Leading ToolsUse government-provided advanced desktop publishing, page layout, and graphics software including:Adobe PhotoshopAdobe IllustratorAdobe InDesignAdobe Acrobat ProDesign and develop textual and media compositions to communicate complex informationVideo and Multimedia IntegrationManipulate video and integrate graphic images, animations, sound, text and other video into consolidated and seamless video productsProduce multimedia content that enhances user understanding and makes information easier to consumeCollaboration and Standards ComplianceEnsure all designs comply with the Visual Guide (colors for charts/maps, classification markings placement, etc.)Attend project planning and execution meetings to define requirements and prioritize graphic design workCollaborate with customers to translate complex ideas into clear visual communicationCoordinate bulk graphics and printing servicesRequired Experience Or Knowledge Of The Following Technologies/functionsMinimum of 3-8 years of relevant graphics/multimedia design experience, preferably in government or intelligence environments.Preferred QualificationsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and present complex information clearly.Required Certifications/EducationBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fieldPreferred Certifications:Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After EffectsAvid Certified Professional for video editingApple Certified Pro - Final Cut ProCertified Digital Marketing Professional requiredRequired Security ClearanceUS Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a NACI, per contract requirements.“Outstanding Performance…Always!”Our corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
