Job DescriptionAlbany Associates in Cardiology and St. Peters Health Partners are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Hospitalist to join our growing team in the Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to provide dedicated inpatient cardiac care across Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY, and St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY, within a collaborative, patient focused environment and one of the regions leading health systems.Position Highlights:Full time inpatient Cardiac Hospitalist position within a high volume, cardiology-focused serviceSchedule: 7 on 7 offWork exclusively in cardiac hospital medicineno outpatient responsibilitiesProvide comprehensive inpatient management of acute cardiac conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes (ACS), and post procedural cardiac careCollaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care coordinatorsFlexible schedule with a competitive call structure designed to support worklife balanceCompetitive compensation package, including productivity-based wRVU incentives for cardiologists in this roleClinical Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive inpatient care for cardiology patientsPerform admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planningCoordinate care with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery teamsInterpret cardiac diagnostics including EKGs, telemetry, and echocardiogramsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case reviewsQualifications:Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiovascular DiseaseExperience or strong interest in cardiology-focused hospital medicineLicensed (or eligible) to practice in New York StateExcellent communication and teamwork skillsRecruitment Package:Base Salary is $600,000 per yearYear 2- Cardiologist has opportunity to join Pool Model where RVU and Quality Incentive Models are shared among pool members. Entry into Pool model requires annual RVU threshold.The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
