IT Business Analyst II

Position Overview
The IT Business Analyst II plays a key role in bridging business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyze workflows, support project execution, and ensure clear communication across teams. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and requirement workshops
Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
Support prioritization and refinement of requirements with product owners and technical teams
Process Mapping & Documentation
Develop and maintain process flows and diagrams (e.g., Visio)
Document current and future-state workflows
Create SOPs, user guides, and operational documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization
Project & Operational Support
Track tasks, deliverables, and dependencies using project tools
Document meeting notes, decisions, and action items
Assist with testing activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Support change management, communications, and training efforts
Maintain dashboards and reporting for leadership
Stakeholder Communication
Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and leadership
Communicate requirements, updates, and decisions clearly and professionally
Additional Responsibilities
Support onboarding/offboarding of project resources
Assist with procurement documentation and technical inputs
Collect and validate data for reporting and decision-making
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in business analysis or IT project support
Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and Visio
Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow or Azure DevOps
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in IT or public health environments
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, or Power BI
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
