Our core values are Safety, Integrity, Respect, Accountability, and Care.Job Summary: The Information Technology intern will be introduced to the Information Technology Department and work on the NHC team supporting the refinery, terminals, and corporate logistics user communities with NHC work practices. They will become familiar with IT policies, processes, and procedures. The student will provide assistance as directed on routine configuration requests, projects, and service center tickets throughout their assignment.Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: High School or equivalent. Must be at least a 2nd semester sophomore or junior level student (Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or other technical field). GPA of 3.0 or above (A=4.0). Working knowledge of computer software: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor. Communicate and interact effectively with all levels in the Corporation. 15 - 20 hrs/wk as agreed upon by student and CITGO IT management.
