Job Title: Sewing Teacher - Part Time As a Sewing Teacher, you will ignite creativity and inspire students of all ages to explore the art of sewing! In this dynamic role, you will develop engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide hands-on instruction that fosters a love for sewing. Whether working with children or adults, your passion for teaching and expertise in sewing will help students build their skills and confidence. What you’ll do Design and implement a comprehensive sewing curriculum that caters to various skill levels. Teach sewing techniques, including machine operation, fabric selection, and pattern making. Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Provide individualized tutoring and support to students as needed. Organize and oversee sewing projects that encourage creativity and practical application of skills. Foster a safe learning space by implementing effective behavior management strategies. Collaborate with other educators to integrate sewing into broader educational themes. Maintain an organized classroom with all necessary materials readily available for students. Basic qualifications Must know how to sew. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse learners. Preferred qualifications Background in curriculum development tailored for various age groups. Experience working with children or in early childhood education settings.
