Operations Analyst/Planner

Position OverviewThe Service Planner will support the Service Operations team by maintaining service supply plans and ensuring customer return demand requirements are met. This role partners cross functionally with planning, production, repair operations, program management, and engineering teams to manage supply demand tradeoffs, inventory health, and service readiness.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Service Operations team by maintaining service supply plans to support customer return demandManage and maintain system parameters including contracts, part numbers, bills of material, chaining, and material supplier data relationshipsActively manage inventory shortages and excess, minimum stock levels, demand forecasts, and key performance metrics for monthly management reviewPartner with production and factory teams to reduce excess inventory and coordinate with production planning on alternate parts and part numbersCollaborate with business units on demand and flexibility tradeoffs to ensure additional liabilities are evaluated carefullyWork with the Planning team lead to evaluate capacity, material, and production constraints and determine tradeoff optionsPrepare weekly supply summaries by analyzing demand shortfalls and supply changesLiaise with Repair Operations to maximize timely use of refurbished materialSupport ramp planning with program managers and engineers from early stage sampling through productionCoordinate product revision transition plans based on customer qualification schedules and supply availabilityUse SAP planning and buying capabilities to support supply related activitiesManage purchase orders for service related products across repair and new build sitesProvide analytical and systems support to the Service Planning teamQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceSeven or more years of experience in service planning, preferably using SAPDirect experience with service operations, spare parts planning, and customer supportStrong communication, problem solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skillsProven ability to document, automate, and improve processes across functionsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel including formulas and pivot tablesExperience with MRP systems and supply planning toolsAbility to write Excel macros is a plusExcellent English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skillsHighly organized, detail oriented, self starter, and collaborative with a strong sense of ownershipProactive mindset with willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the business growsTools and TechnologiesSAPMicrosoft Office and ExcelMaterial Requirements Planning systemsCustomer Relationship Management systems such as SAP CRM or similarService planning systems including Prophet by Baxter preferredSalesforce preferred
