Other duties may be assigned.Good communication skills & know basic shop mathAbility to work in fast paced environmentBasic understanding of work instructions, routers, blueprints, drawings, and specifications in EnglishAbility to write routine reports and correspondence as requiredAble to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularlyAble to follow and carryout instructionsMust be detailed orientedBecome familiar with the Daily Management board and understand covered topics as requiredBasic computer skillsAbility to use/be trained on proper use and reading of micrometers and calipersMust be able to pass vision testCan interface with auditors and customer representativesAble to use sampling plans, drawing, instructions, standards and specifications to verify product acceptance with assistanceAbility to prepare quality lab documentationReviewing raw material for compliance with appropriate specificationsAble to ensure all testing is complete with accuracy and results are legibleAble to perform 2 of the 6 tests (with assistance if needed)High Cycle Fatigue TestingStress Rupture TestingMicrohardness TestingMacro Examination of samplesTensile TestingHydrogen AnalyzerAbility to mounting, polishing, and etching samples for micro and macro examinationAbility to perform with general knowledge 4 of the 6 the following tests (with minimal assistance)High cycle fatigue testingStress rapture testingMicrohardness testingMacro examination of samplesTensile TestingHydrogen AnalyzerCapable of performing test set-up, load determination, testing, calculation of test results, interpretation of test results, recoding, and reporting test results per specification requirementsAbility to be back-up for Visual Inspection, Sorting and document scanning as neededKey ValuesActs with integrity; trustworthy and accurate; dependable; team-player able to work with and cross-train others,QualificationsBasic Qualifications:3-5 years of Quality Experience requiredEmployee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
