Apply today!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all functions within the unit during their shift. Working alongside the management team, the CNC directs, assesses, and evaluates nursing care in line with established policies and procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies the organization’s mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Facilitating admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.Engaging in continuous assessment of the quality of care provided in collaboration with management.Working with experts and managers to foster a collaborative environment that enhances outcomes and service quality.Promoting a patient-first approach and engaging in service recovery when needed.Implementing current nursing strategies to boost staff engagement, including employee rounding and hourly checks.Providing input on hiring, training, and development of new staff, as well as managing performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.Assisting with staff scheduling and managing labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity standards.Overseeing inventory control and assisting with the management of supplies and equipment.Qualifications Required:Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 days of starting employment.Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.Registered Nurse license.Associate Degree in nursing.Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses or Trauma Nursing Core Course certification must be obtained within 6 months of starting employment.Our facility is an acute care center with over 80 beds, located in Belton, serving southern Jackson and northern Cass counties.
