Growing together.As a Cardiologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients who require specialized cardiac care. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team model, working alongside primary care and specialty providers, hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and expanding patient population.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough physical assessments for patients with specialized cardiac conditions.Formulate and execute individualized care plans, including prescribing medications, exercises, and other treatments, as well as conducting tests such as echocardiography, stress testing, vascular ultrasound imaging, nuclear imaging, and cardiac device evaluations.Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care effectively, ensuring continuity through communication with external health and social agencies.Act as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists, consulting on patient care issues.Educate and counsel individuals and groups regarding specific healthcare needs, serving as a specialist in your field.Contribute to the creation of health education programs.In this role, you will be acknowledged and rewarded for your contributions in a challenging environment that provides clear guidance for success and opportunities for growth in various roles.Required Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Cardiology.Possession of a current active DEA license/prescriptive authority or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.Current active Massachusetts DPH Controlled Substances Registration or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be necessary depending on the specialty.We are committed to shaping the healthcare system of the future.As a Fortune 6 company, we prioritize innovation and transformation, striving for excellence in all we do.Through our diverse family of businesses and inspired individuals, we are building a high-performance healthcare system that serves more people in more effective ways than ever before.
