We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Check out our many videos to learn more! http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or face-to-face interactions regarding company products and services, ensuring timely and accurate responsesProblem-solving customer issues with effective solutions that comply with company policiesChecking availability of stock and shipping datesQuoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detailAssisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing productsCommunicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary to resolve customer requests or enhance understanding of customer needsMaintaining a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers at all times#zrswQualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsShould be enthusiastic and able to work independentlyMust have experience performing a majority of the functionsPrior inside sales/customer service experienceData entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is requiredGreat Problem-solving aptitude and initiativeDetail-oriented with a focus on providing outstanding customer serviceAble to collaborate with teamCapacity to stay calm under pressure and handle stress effectivelyRegular in-person attendance requiredPhysical Demand: Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. and to safely use lifting equipment if neededWorking Conditions: Office EnvironmentShift Time/Overtime: Normal in-person business hours Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pmTravel: N/AEducation: High school diploma or GED requiredDXP offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time regular employees, normally working a minimum of 30 hours per week, including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, and additional supplemental benefits.
