Licensed Practical Nurse - MinuteClinic

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse / LVN – MinuteClinic. The LPN/LVN would be working for a Fortune 500 healthcare company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 32-40 hours per week including every other weekend and may require floating to nearby clinic locations. Compensation: • Pay rate: $37.17 per hour - weekly • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment • A 401(k) with a company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Highlights: • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs • Full-time schedule, 32-40 hours per week • Includes every other weekend and some major holidays • Schedule created in 6-week blocks following 3 weeks of training/orientation • Shifts range between 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours • This is an onsite, patient-facing role and may require floating to nearby locations • All MinuteClinic positions are safety sensitive Responsibilities: • Administer vaccinations and injections including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements • Obtain and document patient vital signs • Provide emergency care support in collaboration with onsite provider during emergent situations • Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout procedures • Assist with appointment scheduling, reminder calls, outreach calls, and waiting room management • Serve as a chaperone for sensitive exams as needed • Prepare and maintain clinic and waiting areas to ensure an excellent patient experience • Document patient information within Electronic Medical Record systems, preferably EPIC • Deliver patient-focused care and vaccine education to patients and families Requirements: • Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license required • Minimum of 1 year of related healthcare experience required • Prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings required • Previous immunization and injection administration experience required • Ability to provide vaccine counseling and patient education • Experience obtaining vital signs required • Experience documenting within EMR systems, preferably EPIC • Strong communication and patient care skills • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required Education: • Required: High School Diploma or GED • Required: Active unrestricted LPN/LVN license in a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia • Required: Current BLS Certification If you are interested in this position, please apply directly to this job posting or email resume and job title to Jenise Nottage at jnottage@alinestaffing.com . .
