Our Corpus Christi, Texas office is expanding and growing, and we are looking for motivated, high-quality employees that are driven to succeed and that are excited by a diversified workload and individual growth potential as DCCM expands into the future.In Corpus Christi, we have a need for a Texas-licensed, professional engineer/manager for Land Development and Municipal Projects. This position will focus on assisting with the development of infrastructure design services in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas by managing all aspects of design and production of public and private projects. The ideal candidate will perform engineering design, lead and develop staff, communicate with Clients and jurisdictional staff, and assist with acquisition of new projects.The ideal candidate will build relationships with Clients by leading project design, maintaining schedule, and being actively engaged with Clients. This position will be responsible for the review and sealing of projects and will supervise the work of EIT’s and Design Technicians.This individual will be responsible for invoicing and managing the work, developing and maintaining positive relationships with Clients, monitoring of the financial performance of project budgets, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. A working knowledge of the Corpus Christi area would be a preference, but not essential. This individual must demonstrate good leadership and business development skills.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the design and management of public and private infrastructure projectsRelationship building- Lead and be actively engaged with existing and prospective ClientsResponsible for the review and sealing of infrastructure projects and supervising the work of othersResponsible for invoicing, managing, and monitoring the financial performance of project budgetsDevelop and maintain good Client relationships with the technical and political leaders of the region’s local government agencies, including prospective municipal and county clientele.Lead and develop infrastructure staffRequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityLicensed Professional Engineering in TexasA minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a P.E.A working knowledge of the Coastal Bend area (preferable)Demonstrate leadership and business development skillsExperience in managing project engineer task leaders, designers, and project personnelManagement experience in client relations, budgets, invoicing, and scheduling designAbility to lead multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong oral and written communication skills
