(Senior) Staff Quality Engineer

MHD Rockland is a leading global Aerospace Company with over 40 years of operations. We specialize in distribution, repair stations, and aircraft operations. Headquartered in St Anne de Bellevue, QC, MHD Rockland operates sites and offices throughout Canada, the US, New Zealand, and Australia. This position is a corporate position reporting directly to Director – QA & Production and will be responsible for quality system support for multiple locations in North America. The position may be home based out of any North America office but will have to be able to legally work in Canada and the United States. It is expected that this position will travel 25-35%. The position will directly interact with MHD Rockland Senior Quality Managers and Site supervisors by performing and evaluating tasks that compliance with FAA, TCCA, EASA, SAE AS 9100, 9110, and 9120 quality systems. Experience: This position will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace quality industry with experience in Aerospace MRO and Manufacturing. Below is an example of assigned duties but is not a complete list of tasking: · Revision and control of manuals, procedures, and forms · Performance of Internal and External supplier quality, process, and product audits. · Hosting regulatory, 3rd party QMS, and Customer audits. · Management of the calibration system. · Collection and presentation of Key Process Indicators (KPI’s) and MRM data. · Maintain and distribute MRM notes, RAIL, and follow up items. · Develop Inspection Standards and product travelers and quantum templates. · Assist engineering in quality reviews of newly developed processes. · Develop OJT and training material and records. · Issue and facilitate RCCA. · Develop and implement Risk identification and mitigation process/procedures. · Other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills: · Collaborative Problem Solving Skills · Root Cause identification and elimination · Strong Organizational Skills (previous project management desirable) · Team Leadership skill · Microsoft Office Suite · Self-starting and motivating · Energetic with a positive attitude.
