They are now seeking a Test Engineer to help validate performance, ensure product reliability, and support the development of next-generation equipment.Work model:On-Site7:00AM - 4:00PMMonday - FridayWhat you will do:Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned as well as general industry engineering standards and processesSupport senior engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reportingUnder close supervision, work on projects of limited complexity in a support roleCollaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externallyAssist with establishing of requirements for testing of heavy-duty vehicles and associated equipment according to the needs of the projectRecommend what equipment resources are necessary to accomplish the test.Assist in formulating project estimatesAssist in creating test plans and implementing them via communication to engineers and techniciansCreate plans for fixtures and test apparatuses and supervise their construction and developmentCoordinate, supervise and monitor progress of testingRecommend corrective actions needed to maintain schedule and cost targetsCommunicate the status and results of tests as neededAbility to travel 10%Support Prototype team member safety discussionsResearch, plan, and execute testing related to standardIdentify opportunities within defined standards to support the projectsWhat you will need to be successful:Must be hands on person who is willing to get involved with vehicle workGood communication/writing skillsSelf-starter that is open to team and independent workBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experienceExperience in automotive or heavy-vehicle equipmentBenefits overview:401kMajor health insurancesEmployee Stock Ownership Plan ( ESOP )Click here for a complete list of benefits
