This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliationsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesReconcile bank statements and balance sheet accountsAssist in preparation of financial statements and management reportsMonitor and analyze financial data for accuracy and trendsSupport budgeting and forecasting activitiesEnsure compliance with GAAP and hospital policiesAssist with audits and provide necessary documentationProcess and review accounts payable and receivable as neededMaintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation recordsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting preferred2–5 years of accounting experience preferred (healthcare experience a plus)Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience in a hospital or healthcare settingKnowledge of cost reporting and reimbursement processesFamiliarity with ERP systemsWork EnvironmentPrimarily office-basedMay require extended hours during month-end close or audits
