Talking to the students and families about the program. Demonstrating skills, trying your best, communication and holding yourself accountable.Your Typical Responsibilities:Follow British Swim Schools curriculum to ensure safe and competent lessons.Establish and maintain relationships with students' parents and/or guardians. As well as the team.Teach British Swim School lessons with encouragement and positive reinforcement.Minimum Qualifications:16 or older.Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.Comfortable in and around the waterWilling to undergo a background check.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in teaching children/adults.Swim ExperienceHave or willing to obtain-Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s)Graduated High school or at least on track to.Job Type: Part-time Benefits:Competitive pay based on experience.Paid in-depth training.Opportunity to make a difference in your community!Ability for growth within the company!Job Type: Part-timeOpportunity for 401K/ Insurance after initial period Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hourHours:We are a newer to the area company. Currently operating and looking for someone on Monday/Tuesday evenings and Saturday Mornings. We are opening a second location at Tri-C Metro in the fall with opportunity for hours there as well. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
