Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Administrative Specialist at Promethean Energy in Houston, TX. The Administrative Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, vendor & data management, and support in compliance, finance and marketing related tasks. This candidate must demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills, strive for excellence, and embrace the values of the company – Integrity, Safety, Accountability, Collaboration, Innovation, & Transparency. Functions & DutiesManage all compliance documentation for each subcontractor (when applicable on federal government projects)Support the project on all activities of a project including document and data managementSupport the project’s financial and schedule status and progress reportingProvide vendor and interface management support to all stakeholders involved on the projectAttend project meetings, in person or virtually as required, with project team and/or clientsConduct any administrative tasks, order supplies, etc.Support any initiatives or activities as directed by the CEO, CFO, Project Director, SVP of Operations, and other executives. Education & Work ExperienceMinimum 1 year of project experience or bachelor’s degree; preference to those with offshore oil and gas experienceBasic knowledge and understanding of offshore operations and project management preferredMust be self-motivated, hard-working, resourceful, and passionate, with the ability to manage time and determined to succeed in an environment which requires strong team-work and cross functional interactionExcellent communicator who is able to articulate a value proposition to a wide range of organizational levelsBusiness administration, Marketing, and other business related degrees preferred. QualificationsStrong communication and customer service skillsWilling to provide a wide range of administrative activities Ability to work effectively in a team settingProficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects & SharePointOrganizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracy Career advancement opportunities in area of core competency (e.g. accounting, finance, marketing, etc.)
