Full Stack Java Developer (On-site)

*Education:* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. *Required Tasks:* * Provide maintenance, enhancement, and support for various business applications. * Assist in preparing and documenting program requirements and specifications. * Research and document requirements of program users. * Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications. * Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines. * Collaborate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to resolve problems with software products or systems. * Mentor and guide junior programmers. *Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):* * 7+ years of experience with Java application development, utilizing frameworks like Struts/Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets/JSP, and JPA/Hibernate. * 5+ years of experience with Oracle databases, capable of developing complex queries and PL/SQL database objects. * 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, NodeJS, React, or JQuery. * 3+ years of experience as a full-stack developer. * Experience with responsive design frameworks, preferably Bootstrap. * Proficiency in using code repositories, preferably Git. * Familiarity with continuous integration tools, preferably Jenkins. * Knowledge of relational database designs and object-oriented design methodologies. * Familiarity with Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM). * Experience with database query tools (e.g., TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL Navigator). * Understanding of database security, including role-based security. * Knowledge and experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML). * Ability to creatively solve problems and anticipate potential issues in application software systems. * Strong interpersonal, collaborative, oral, and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure without sacrificing quality. *Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):* * Oracle certification(s). * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban. * Experience with Virtualization, particularly Docker. * Experience implementing Geographic Information System (GIS) applications. * Proficiency in developing web services, preferably RESTful web services. * Knowledge of environmental regulatory business processes and practices.
