Senior Python Engineer

We’re looking for a strong Senior Python Engineer who can design, build, and improve large-scale applications while helping the team deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality solutions.You’ll be responsible for:Designing, developing, testing, and documenting software and technical solutions.Building and improving both front-end and back-end systems.Troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis to prevent problems from happening again.Designing scalable, maintainable systems and leading larger development efforts.Helping the team improve system reliability, performance, security, and resiliency.Breaking down complex technical designs into work that can be easily implemented and maintained.Making sure applications have the right testing, monitoring, and instrumentation in place.Identifying security risks and helping the team address vulnerabilities and potential attack surfaces.Looking for opportunities to improve processes, reuse existing solutions, and introduce better ways of doing things.Mentoring and coaching other engineers on technical best practices.What we’re looking for:5–7 years of full SDLC experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications.5+ years of Python development experience.Strong experience with FastAPI.5+ years working with RESTful web services.Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault.Experience developing both front-end and back-end applications.Nice to have:React, TypeScript, and JavaScript experience.Terraform and Vault experience.Git/GitHub experience.Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments, including shell scripting.Experience with PostgreSQL, ORM frameworks, and database performance tuning.Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.Experience contributing to professional or open-source projects.
