Associate Pilot Plant

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Associate Pilot Plant for an onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in West Greenwich, RI. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. This role supports the execution of cell culture, harvest, and downstream purification process studies using large-scale pilot equipment. The ideal candidate will perform routine lab tasks including equipment preparation, compounding media and buffer solutions, sampling, and documenting data in a team environment. Responsibilities: Support the execution of cell culture, harvest and downstream purification processes Lead management of materials including oversight of sample requests, test submission, storage, and shipping coordination Perform routine tasks including equipment preparation (Clean-In-Place and Steam-In-Place), compounding media and buffer solutions, and sampling Utilize scientific principles in the execution of experiments and analysis of experimental data Document data and process information in accordance with good documentation practices Perform in-process testing using laboratory analyzers Perform laboratory safety evaluations, minor equipment maintenance, and general lab organization Maintain laboratory standards with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance Requirements: High school/GED with 2+ years of work experience, OR an Associate's degree with 6+ months of work experience, OR a Bachelor's degree Prior hands-on experience in pilot- or large-scale cell culture or downstream purification process development or manufacturing Experience with automated computer-controlled biopharmaceutical equipment Knowledge of process data compilation and analysis Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and excellent attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired skills: Demonstrated equipment troubleshooting skills Experience with collaboration within and across functional areas Ability to work occasional evening and weekend work Pay range: up to $31.60 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
