SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST

DescriptionThis role provides direct high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO, and serves as a back-up to the Chief Administrative Analyst to the CEO. The position also includes occasional support for executive logistics, such as driving the CEO to meetings or events as needed. Provides complex administrative, analytical, and/or budgetary support for an assigned department.This position is in-office five days a week, flexibility is required as some weekend availability may be requested.Recruitment Timelines: Interviews are projected to be scheduled for the week of June 8th, 2025. We encourage you to monitor your governmentjobs.com profile and emails for the latest updates.Examples of DutiesPlans and organizes administrative functions and tasks relative to the activities or operations of a departmentDesigns, develops, and implements projects that are defined by agency goals and objectives, policies and procedures, work requirements, and performance measuresFormulates and conducts financial, administrative, policy, and organizational analyses and research, prepares analytical and forecasting reports, provides recommendations, and implements problem solvingMonitors projects and programs and tracks and trends KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)Recommends strategies for process improvement and prepares justifications for staffing, facilities, equipment, production, and policyConducts a variety of special projects and programs related to the departmentRepresents Metro in meetings, committees, and conferences, and conducts on-site meetings to comply with agency policies and procedures and maintain interface with public agencies, community organizations, contractors, vendors, consultants, and the public on various matters as assignedAdvises management and staff regarding performance and funding mattersAssists in the development, administration, and tracking of department and capital budgets and/or contracts, including gathering information, monitoring expenditures, and recommending appropriate action regarding budget variancesPrepares recommendations for proposed expenditures of capital fundsPrepares and submits requisitions and check requestsProcesses confidential documents and maintains dataGenerates correspondence, reports, and presentationsCoordinates staff to work as a team in accomplishing tasksCoordinates activities and projects with those of other departmentsMinimum QualificationsMay be required to perform other related job dutiesRequiredA combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
