Job OverviewThe Overnight Venue Operations Crew Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the facility after events. This team member plays a critical role in resetting the venue for the following day by cleaning, breaking down event setups, and preparing spaces for upcoming weddings, meetings, and community events.Team members must be able to work independently, follow detailed setup instructions, and maintain high standards for cleanliness and organization. The goal of this position is to ensure the venue is fully reset, clean, and ready for the next scheduled event or rental.ResponsibilitiesEvent BreakdownBreak down all wedding and event setups after events concludeRemove all trash from the wedding space and surrounding areasBreak down tables, chairs, bars, staging, and other rental equipmentReturn all equipment to designated storage areasEnsure storage areas remain organized and accessibleInspect furniture and equipment for damage or cleanliness before storageEvent Setup PreparationAssist with basic setup for upcoming weddings or events when scheduledPlace tables, chairs, and furniture according to event layoutsStage equipment and supplies needed for the next day's event teamVerify all furniture and equipment is clean and ready for useOvernight CleaningClean restrooms thoroughly including sinks, toilets. floors, and trash removalSweep, mop, and sanitize event spaces, hallways, patios, and entrancesClean bar areas, kitchens, and service spacesRemove trash from all facility trash cans and dispose of properlyClean and sanitize high touch areas including counters, doors, and railingsFacility ResetEnsure the venue is fully reset and presentable by the morningRestock restroom supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paperInspect the facility for damage, maintenance needs, or safety concernsReport issues to management through daily logs or communication channelsEnsure all event areas meet cleanliness and organization standards before leaving the facilityAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport large events with additional setup or breakdown tasks as neededMaintain proper care and storage of cleaning equipment and suppliesAssist with seasonal setup projects such as holiday decorations or large installationsFollow all safety procedures and cleaning protocolsRequirementsAbility to work overnight hours and weekendsAbility to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment up to 50 poundsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience in event setup, facilities cleaning, or venue operations preferred but not requiredMust be self motivated and take pride in your workFollow instructions and complete tasks efficientlyReliable and shows up on time
